The human being laughing is not pleasure or happiness. Pleasure comes from external sources whereas happiness is from one's insight or inner sources. Pleasure can be from the worldly possessions whereas happiness can be from sacrifices and compromises. Pleasure can be gaining everything and happiness can be losing everything. Pleasure can be acquired by laughing at someone but happiness is experienced by being happy in someone's happiness. Happiness is eternal whereas pleasure is short lived. Happiness is something that can be felt but cannot be explicated, it is to be earned through sharing as it would accentuate when shared.
One should endeavor to realize happiness in one's life as it is long lasting and never ending. It can be achieved through spreading the positive wipes and making everyone happy around. It can be attained through appreciating people, their achievements and successes. Happiness is the feeling of contentment that comes from your achievements and pursuing the work that you love to do. Love the work you do you would be happy. There would not be a problem of work stress at all as you are savoring your work and you are happy at the most.
Never try to lower down the people through criticism, never try to hide your sorrows, share it with friends and well wishers as it would curtail down your depth of grief. Never humiliate people; behave with the people the way you wish to be behaved by others as whatever is thrown in the sea comes back to the earth. If one throws rubbish into the sea, it will retreat back to the earth and make the earth dirty. If you rebuke others the echo of those words are heard by your ears also.
If you yearn to earn respect by the people then you should start rendering regards to others; then only you could expect of gaining regards in return. It, too bestows happiness inside.

Thus, happiness can be eternal whereas pleasure comes to an end. It depends on our own discretion whether we long to be happy or simply gain pleasure from acquiring worldly possessions. One can be happy without possessing anything as he has inner peace, solace, tranquility and contentment which is not at all there whilst acquiring pleasure. A fear of loosing would always eat up your joy of gaining wealth. One who does not have to loose would not be suffering with fear. That does not mean one should not have but one should have and one should double its joy by sharing with others or helping the impoverished. The cheer on the gloomy face would wipe off his tears and his cheeriness would render you happiness from inside. Endure the pains of loosing pleasure by being bountiful to your accomplishments and savor the feeling of contentment and complacency. Thus pleasure is good to be acquired and comes to an end but happiness is excellent to be felt and last forever.
"Outshine yourself with the grandeur of being happy forever".
